Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU)

Agriculture and Forestry University is the first technical university established in Nepal starting its journey from 2010 A.D. It was before under the name of Tribhuwan University recognized as Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) which is now shifted to Paklihawa, Bhairahawa.

This University aims to introduce human resource in the field of Agriculture, Livestock, Aquaculture, and Forestry.

Faculties

At present, there are major 3 faculties under AFU.

A. Faculty of Agriculture (FOA)

Faculty of Agriculture has 9 departments, 2 centers, and 52 highly qualified faculty members involved in teaching, research, and outreach activities.
